It has been confirmed that long time IndyCar driver Bryan Herta will be moving over from the Andretti-Green IRL operation to head thier new ALMS sports car team driving the new Acura sports prototype.

Meanwhile according to SpeedTV.com Scott Sharp is moving from Fernandez Racing to Rahal Letterman where his new sponsorship money will allow them to run a two-car squad. Also on the move from Fernandez is Kosuke Matsuura who will take his Panasonic sponsorship with him to the under funded Panther Racing.

The loss of drivers and associated sponsorship money palces the Fernandez Racing IRL program in jepordy and reduces the number of confirmed entries for the 2007 IRL season to just 16 cars.
